Is your tween or teen interested in learning more about how to optimize their health? Are you concerned at all about how they eat, but they don’t want to listen to your advice? Would you like them to learn the essential lesson of eating healthily, but they hear it better coming from someone other than you?
I get what it’s like to try to educate your child about ways to improve their health or life, but maybe they don’t want to listen to you. (This also happens in my household!). I also understand the desire of passing on critical information for building healthy habits - but maybe you don’t have the time, or knowledge, or have it figured out on your own side. Whatever the reason, I’ve got you (and your tween or teen)!
The Healthy Foundations program was born from my desire to help other families set their children up for success in life - a big part of which is learning to tune into our bodies and take care of ourselves. The lessons I have learned through my training, and that I am trying to pass onto my children, are such foundational lessons that we could all benefit from. Tweens and Teens are at the perfect age for this information as they strive for increased autonomy in the world.
Sign your child up for the 5 week Healthy Foundations program. During this program, a small group (max 10) of tweens/ teens and I will meet each week to discuss core nutrition and health concepts. This program’s vibe will be safe, supportive, practical and non-judgmental. My intention is for each tween/ teen is to walk away feeling like they are empowered to make better choices for their health - whether that is the food they choose to nourish themselves with, or healthy habits to apply around movement, sleep, digestion, stress management and more. The group will be organic and dynamic, and the concepts we discuss may evolve based on their interests and desires.

Your Healthy Foundations Guide
Hello! I’m Nicole - a Board Certified Functional Health Practitioner and Nutrition Counselor, based in Los Angeles, CA. I am deeply passionate about nutrition and the power of healing through food. I came to this work through my own health challenges, along with those of my children. My children have very sensitive bodies and I witness first-hand how processed junk food negatively impacts their moods, behavior, sleep and more. I know how hard it can be to compete with a world full of sugary snacks and convenience foods - it’s everywhere, including their schools. I have found that repeated education has helped my children learn to make choices for their body that will leave them feeling balanced, not sick to their stomachs, and more like themselves. Balance is a key word here - I’m not a proponent for overly restrictive as that has it’s own dark side. I’m excited to pass on the pragmatic and positive lessons I’ve learned from my training and personal experience, to help improve the health of Tweens and Teens in a society where people are getting sicker and sicker. These lessons are so foundational and transformational at the same time. I hope to be able to support your child and family on your personal health journey.
